Russian Schoolbook

In its attempt to capture the essence of Russian Soviet Union children, this book features the dress, activities and hobbies of four boys and girls from the era. On the outside, the book is reminiscent of a Russian school grade book. On the inside, pages are divided into thirds, which allows the viewer to exchange the heads, torsos and legs between children. Each page is comprised of a detailed collage in various materials to intimate the personal lives of children specific to the time period.
This book is entirely handmade.
